A fictional economy with a memory
Centiki treats the game world as a continuing history rather than a sequence of disposable matches. Important actions remain visible in the public Log, so later events grow from earlier decisions.
The result is an economy with memory. A decision can become useful, embarrassing, profitable, costly, celebrated, or misunderstood long after it was made.
Strategy without a prescribed answer
Centiki does not define one correct path. Players decide what deserves attention, which institutions should grow, what risks are acceptable, and how much individual advantage should yield to collective benefit.
The game is designed to create arguments as well as outcomes. A successful decision may still be ethically doubtful. A generous decision may still fail. The record remains after the explanation changes.
Companies as ideas
Centiki companies are fictional institutions with names, images, purposes, and constituencies. They can embody inventions, public projects, jokes, warnings, social experiments, or competing visions of the future.
Their importance comes from the attention and meaning players give them, not from a claim to real-world ownership.
The larger Centiki world
The game is connected to the fictional world of Centiki: Mirror of the State. Characters, companies, documents, and clues can cross between the book, the websites, and the exchange while each part remains understandable on its own.
An ethical charter
Centiki welcomes profit inside the game, but its companies are bound to a broader purpose. Usefulness, imagination, fairness, stewardship, beauty, invention, and community benefit are part of the charter.
The mission is concise: make the world cool again.
Virtual systems only
KI, shares, prices, loans, and company values are fictional game mechanics. They are not real currency, securities, investment products, or promises of future value.
