How Centiki handles account information, gameplay records, cookies, technical data, and the persistent Log.

This Privacy Policy explains how Centiki collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use centiki.net and its related services.

Centiki is a fictional economic strategy game. KI, shares, prices, loans, auctions, and other financial mechanics are virtual and have no guaranteed real-world value.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information created through gameplay, and limited technical information needed to operate and protect the Service.

  • Account information: email address, username, authentication and account-recovery information.
  • Gameplay information: KI and share balances, companies, bids, listings, votes, loans, messages, inventory, and other actions taken in the game.
  • Log information: TX IDs, timestamps, parties, company identifiers, Page references, and other records generated by the simulation.
  • Communications: support messages, bug reports, feedback, and other information you choose to send us.
  • Purchase information: if you buy optional badges, books, merchandise, or other products outside gameplay, we may collect order details, contact information, payment confirmation, and information needed to fulfill the order or process a refund. Payment card information may be handled directly by a payment processor rather than stored by Centiki.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, security events, and error logs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: essential cookies needed for authentication, security, and basic operation, plus optional categories only when you allow them.

2. How we use information

  • Operate accounts, authentication, gameplay, the Exchange, and community features.
  • Record and preserve game history in the Log.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, automated attacks, cheating, and security problems.
  • Fix errors, maintain performance, and improve the Service.
  • Respond to support requests and send important service or policy notices.
  • Process, fulfill, and support optional real-money purchases that are separate from gameplay.
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce the Terms and Conditions.

3. The public Log

Centiki is designed as an economy with memory. Certain completed game actions may remain in the Log as part of the simulation's chronological history. The Log may display usernames, company names, TX IDs, timestamps, and game activity that the Service intentionally makes visible. Do not include sensitive personal information in public-facing game content.

4. Cookies

Essential cookies are used for authentication, security, and core preferences. Optional cookies or similar technologies are used only according to the choices presented in the site's cookie controls. You can change those choices through the available cookie settings.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with service providers supporting hosting, authentication, email, security, maintenance, payment processing, or order fulfillment; when required for legal or safety reasons; or as part of a transfer of the Service or its assets.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account, subject to applicable law and legitimate needs such as security, fraud prevention, record integrity, and legal obligations. Where applicable, you may also have additional privacy rights under the law where you live.

8. Age requirement

Authenticated Centiki features are restricted to users aged 18 or over. If we learn that an ineligible minor has created an account or submitted personal information through authenticated features, we may suspend the account and take appropriate steps regarding the associated data.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. The current version will be posted with its "Last updated" date.
