These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of centiki.net and its related features (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Centiki is a game
Centiki is a fictional economic strategy game and simulation. KI, companies, shares, prices, loans, bids, auctions, votes, and other financial mechanics exist only inside the game. They are not real currency, securities, investment products, or promises of future value. Centiki is not a brokerage, cryptocurrency, blockchain project, or investment platform, and nothing on the Service is financial advice.
Centiki.net does not accept real money for KI, shares, loans, bids, auctions, company creation, or other gameplay mechanics. Virtual balances and assets cannot be redeemed for cash. Separate optional items outside gameplay, such as badges, books, or other physical or digital products, may be offered for real-money purchase. Buying those items does not provide KI, shares, voting power, better odds, gameplay privileges, or any other in-game advantage.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use authenticated features.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate account information and not impersonate another person.
- We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, creates security risk, or misrepresents eligibility.
3. Gameplay and conduct
You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes cheating, exploiting bugs, manipulating the simulation, bypassing intended mechanics, harassment, threats, doxxing, hate speech, unlawful content, abusive automated traffic, malicious code, and unauthorized access.
4. Virtual assets and game rules
The Service may display KI balances, shares, bids, listings, votes, loans, prices, and other virtual items. They have no guaranteed real-world value. Gameplay rules, fees, limits, prices, availability, and mechanics may change as the simulation develops.
The Pit, auctions, IPO Factory, loans, governance systems, and other features can produce gains or losses measured only in virtual game assets. You are responsible for the choices you make in the simulation. We do not guarantee prices, liquidity, outcomes, or continued availability of any particular mechanic.
We may correct, reverse, pause, rebalance, or remove virtual transactions or balances when reasonably necessary to address bugs, security problems, abuse, maintenance, or errors affecting the integrity of the game.
5. Optional purchases
Centiki may offer optional badges, books, merchandise, or other physical or digital products for real-money purchase. These purchases are separate from the fictional economy and are not required to play. They do not increase virtual wealth, alter game outcomes, or confer an advantage over other players. Refunds and returns for these products are governed by the Refund and Returns Policy.
6. The Log
Completed game actions may be written to the Log, Centiki's chronological record of simulation activity. The Log is intended to give the game a persistent history. You may not use Log information to harass users, defeat privacy protections, or attempt to identify people beyond information the Service intentionally displays.
7. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content to the Service, you give Centiki a non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and process that content as reasonably necessary to operate the game and its community features. You are responsible for content you submit and must have the right to submit it.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its code, design, artwork, text, trademarks, and original game content, is owned by Centiki and/or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal gameplay subject to these Terms.
9. Availability, suspension, and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, enforcement of these Terms, or protection of the game and its users. You may stop using the Service at any time.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free gameplay, preservation of every game state, or any particular result from using the Service.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Centiki will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, profits, or other intangible losses arising from use of the Service.
12. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, retained, and shared in connection with the Service.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service or its rules change. The current version will be posted with its "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
