Voting systems

Centiki Governance

Centiki uses separate voting systems for ownership decisions, community decisions, and takeover bonds because each requires a different source of authority.

Three forms of voting

Centiki separates share votes, community votes, and bond votes. The categories are not interchangeable. Each defines who may participate and how voting power is counted.

Share votes

A share vote is tied to a specific company. Voting power is based on the eligible player’s share balance in that company. A larger eligible holding therefore carries greater weight in the result.

Share voting connects influence to economic exposure. The proposal rules determine the relevant snapshot, deadline, and resolution conditions.

Community votes

Community governance follows one member, one vote. Company wealth does not multiply the ballot. This system is used when membership itself, rather than ownership, is the source of authority.

Bond votes

Bond voting belongs to the takeover process. Eligibility can depend on ownership, the submitted vote, and KI contributed under the proposal rules. A YES vote may qualify an eligible participant for a successful outcome; a NO vote influences the decision but does not create that entitlement.

Votes are final

Once submitted, a vote cannot be edited or removed. Finality prevents participants from changing ballots after seeing later votes or market movement.

Resolution

Each proposal resolves under its own threshold and deadline. The system totals the applicable voting power, determines the result, and records the outcome. A proposal can fail even when many people participate if the required voting weight or threshold is not reached.

Public accountability

Votes and resolved proposals enter the Log. The permanent record allows later company and community events to be connected to the decisions that authorized them.

Centiki is a fictional economic strategy game. Its KI, shares, prices, auctions, and financial systems are virtual and have no guaranteed real-world value. Authenticated features require users to be at least 18 years old.
